Bewildering Stories welcomes...

Mary King

Mary is a poet by avocation, specializing in short genres such as haiku and haibun, although she writes longer poems, as well. Her style is marked by a light and delicate touch with a keen eye for the natural world.

Perhaps Mary’s long experience with poetry affects her style in prose fiction. In this issue, she establishes a new precedent for us: a flash-fiction serial. It sounds like a contradiction in terms, but it’s three stories related by the common theme of time travel and the character of the “travel agent.”

Mary has agreed to share some of her poetry with us, and it will also appear in future issues.

Welcome to Bewildering Stories, Mary! We look forward to hearing from you again soon and often.
