Sarah Ann Watts
Bewildering Stories biography
Sarah Ann Watts was born in East Yorkshire and lives in Hull, England. She has been writing for as long as she can remember and started writing her first book at the age of 17.
A decade or two later she finally got round to finishing it after giving in to life’s distractions in the usual forms of exams, university, first love, wedding, divorce, earning a living, true love, marriage and children.
Deciding that three babies were enough to be going on with, she woke up one morning with the irrational conviction that she finally knew what she wanted to do when she grew up and reached for the nearest crayon.
Explaining just why her children’s homework has draft stories scrawled on the back has become something of an occupational hazard.
A short story, “Mirror, Mirror on the Wall,” has recently appeared in an anthology, Liquorice Ice Cream and other Just Desserts and she is currently seeking representation for her first novel.
