Patricia Tyrer

Bewildering Stories biography

Pat Tyrer is a Professor of English at West Texas A&M University where she teaches Creative Writing, Film Studies, and American Literature. She writes and publishes poetry and short fiction.

Recently she’s published a monograph on Evelyn Scott, an American Modernist, and is currently working on a short story collection about the residents of a retirement village.

Her creative work has appeared in Front Porch Review, Black Fox Literary Magazine, Scattered Pennies, Dark Media, Ether Books, Moon Rising Magazine, 6S, Dark Valentine Magazine, Mused, The Houston Literary Review, Quiet Mountain, and Readers’ Digest.
