Bewildering Stories biography

I was born in England, educated there, in New Zealand and the United States. My husband and I now live in Cromwell, Connecticut.

During my years in Fairfield, Connecticut, I was a school librarian. Writing became a new interest only after retirement. Before that, little theater was my main avocation.

Three excerpts from my memoir, Sailing Through War and Peace, have won awards. Two were published in eight magazines by the Weston Group. The Auckland Maritime Museum in New Zealand recorded another excerpt also from the same memoir.

Some short fiction has appeared in Enigma Magazine, Quality Street, The Storyteller and Pen Works.

Recently, I read my short story, “Tea with the Bishop,” which was filmed and appeared at an art show, Connecting Cultures, in Madison, Connecticut.
