Donna Marie Nowak is a freelance writer and illustrator who lives in Brooklyn, New York (no Brooklyn accent, by the by!) Her work has appeared in a variety of publications, including Esquire, Amazing Heroes, Mystery Scene Magazine and Filmfax. Her hobbies include classic films, Golden Age mysteries, classic literature, dance, card tricks, and many others. She has a website devoted to actress Joan Crawford.
