Lesley has been writing since 2003 and has written over seventy short stories, many of which have been published or have won prizes in competitions. She writes in genres including: crime, horror, literary, supernatural, historical and contemporary.
After achieving a grant from Arts Council England, she completed her novel “Fathoming Shadows.” The book is set in Cornwall in two time periods: the 1830s and 2011. It’s about a haunting and a television crew who uncover the truth behind a Victorian murder. Lesley is seeking representation for this book.
Lesley is currently working on a new book set in Victorian London. She coordinates the writers’ group, ‘The Stortford Scribblers’, in her home town of Bishop’s Stortford, Hertfordshire, England.
