Bewildering Stories biography

Nancy Lane graduated from UCLA and began a career in the computer industry as a programmer for Nixdorf Computers. A few computer companies later, Nancy fell into the aerospace industry.

Thanks to the Department of Defense’s penchant for issuing new standards for software development every five or so years, Nancy wrote thousands of software policies and procedures to help software developers stay compliant with their customers’ ever-changing requirements.

Upon early retirement, Nancy wandered into creative writing. Currently, Nancy is a frequent participant in Portland’s Tuesday Morning Writers workshops.
