Jimmie A. Kepler is a poet, writer, and book reviewer. His poetry and fiction has appeared in The Dead Mule School of Southern Literature, Writing After Fifty, vox poetica, Words... Rhymes... Poetry & Prose and Poetry & Prose eMagazine. He is a contributing book reviewer for Front Row Lit Magazine. He has also published nonfiction in nine magazines and journals.

He earned a B.A. in history with minors in English and military science from The University of Texas at Arlington. He also holds a M.A. degree and is a former Captain in the U.S. Army. He lives in a suburb of Dallas, Texas.
