Bewildering Stories biography

I am an English professor at Trinity Christian College in Palos Heights, Illinois, where I have taught a range of traditional courses on subjects including Shakespeare, Arthurian literature, and linguistics. I have also sometimes taught less conventional subjects, including one course centered on Japanese visual culture and another on the fiction of H. P. Lovecraft.

As a writing teacher and amateur jazz pianist, I am fascinated by improvisation in music and in other forms of composition. My most recent creative work has appeared or is forthcoming in Apeiron, Lantern Magazine, Pennsylvania Literary Journal, and Red Booth Review.
