I was born and raised in Bucharest, Romania, where I earned my Bachelor’s in Finance. I moved to the U.S. during 2001, continued my studies and eventually became a CPA. I practice my profession at a translation company in downtown Brooklyn and I live in New Jersey with my wife and son.
I’ve been writing all my life, mostly in my native language, but for the longest time I didn’t try to publish my work. It was more of a hobby, a love of mine, something I kept for myself. At some point, though, I realized that a true writer is a published writer, so I decided to start refining my works, come up with new material, and start submitting.
In parallel with everything, I am also running a blog on fiction writing at www.fantasyscroll.com, and I have a personal blog at www.iulianionescu.com.
