Michael C. Hansen is the youngest of six outrageously talented children, the oldest of which being fellow Bewildering Stories contributor Gregory Hansen.

As a youth, he frequently sought attention in odd and often alarming ways (throwing himself from high places, obnoxious impromtu songs, etc.). His English professor desrcibed him as having “50 pounds of imagination in an 8-pound head.”

He began his literary career at the tender age of seven, with a short story entitled “Space Assasins.” The story had very little to do with space and even less to do with assasination, but his parents (either in wisdom or in foolishness) encouraged him all the same. Michael currenly works as a papaya farmer in Laie, Hawaii, writing in between harvests. Bewildering Stories his first publication.
