Daniel Green was born in the Midwest and has lived in five states. Currently he resides in Maine but will soon be moving back to his home state of Missouri. He has a Ph.D in English, but hopes that readers of his fiction will not hold this against him.

His other fiction has appeared in, among others, Sycamore Review, Bitter Oleander, Quarter After Eight, and Word Riot.

His reviews and essays have appeared most recently in Bookforum, RE: Arts and Letters, Prose Toad, Butterflies and Wheels, and The Antioch Review.

He maintains a literary weblog entitled The Reading Experience.
