Bewildering Stories biography

I am a retired teacher from Ontario, Canada. I hold a B.A. and B.Ed., majoring in English and French literature.

As a teen and young adult, I enjoyed writing as a hobby, but became disillusioned with the prospects for finding employment as a serious writer, and so I destroyed all my works, and now regret doing so. After 34 years of teaching, I decided to revive my lifelong dream of being a writer.

I enjoy writing in a variety of different styles and genres. My poems and stories appear in or are forthcoming in Spadina Literary Review, Montreal Writes, Commuterlit, Spillwords, Canadian Stories, October Hill, Adelaide Literary, Scarlet Leaf Review, Lighten Up, Polar Borealis, Voice of Eve, and Bewildering Stories.

When I’m not reading and writing, I enjoy spending time with my husband, two grown children, and cat. I also own a retail store and work part-time as a postal clerk.
