David Eland, praise for the author, husband, dad:

“You’re pretty good,” his wife said with a smile.
“Cool story, Dad,” his 14-year-old son.
“What’s a dominatrix?” his 11-year-old daughter said before the manuscript was taken away from her.
“I love you.” his 8-year-old old son, who struggles with autism.
“Read another story to me,” his 4-year-old daughter.

OK, so much for the accolades. David is a forty-something father who is returning to writing and submitting fiction after a twenty-year sabbatical. He writes because it’s fun, and it’s less expensive than buying a sports car or going into therapy. “Xenophiles” is my first published story.
