Katelyn Duncan

Bewildering Stories biography

Katelyn Duncan lives and writes in Anchorage, Alaska. Her typical daily routine includes lighting the fireplace in her igloo, saddling up a polar bear to ride to school, and in the summer, answering the oblivious questions of tourists at Anchorage’s Saturday Market.

In her free time she plays viola, watches auto racing, reads untranslated Spanish literature, critiques at the online writing community www.writersbeat.com, writes (of course), and works as editor-in-chief of her school’s literary magazine. “The Pianist” is her first published story of what she hopes will be many.

She wishes to thank her friends (especially River), the community at Writer’s Beat, and her family for their support of her writing.
