Fiona Davis
Fiona was born in a small Washington town, but after several years of wild adventures in the mountains, forests and streams of the Pacific Northwest, she moved with her family to Sacramento, California.

From the time when she first learned to read she has loved books. The love of writing came later, after many painful lessons in grammar, literature and composition. Once able to express herself on paper however, it became impossible to stop.

She began as a freshman at California State University, Sacramento in the fall of 1992, with every intention of majoring in Biology and eventually becoming a botanist. Fate intervened however, and she fell in love with the study of languages.

After taking just about every French class available, studying in Quebec for a year, and dabbling in German, Italian and Montagnais she graduated with a BA in French in 1998. She went on to study Linguistics at the University of California, Santa Barbara; however, due to unforeseen circumstances she left the program in December of 1999 and has been in the working world ever since.

She grew up around computers and various forms of technology. She stepped into the online universe in 1994 and hasn’t looked back since.

She is currently living in Austin, Texas with her husband and daughter.
