Rae Bryant

Bewildering Stories biography

Rae Bryant is a short story author, poet, novelist, reviewer, submissions editor/slushreader for Fantasy Magazine, and promotions editor for Apex Digest.

As a 2008 recipient of the Whidbey Writers’ Prize, Rae Bryant’s “A History of Bloody Point, 1626” was published on the Whidbey Writer’s MFA zine.

Rae also has works accepted/published at Fantasy Magazine, Weird Tales, Literary Traveler, The Fix, and Southern Fried Weirdness, among others. She’s a member of HWA, editor-nominated for Storysouth’s Million Writers Award, and a graduate student of Johns Hopkins Masters of Arts in Writing program.

She lives in a little valley outside Washington, D.C. where political bloodbaths often pool. Luckily, Rae owns a boat.
