J.R. Blackwell

Bewildering Stories biography

J. R. Blackwell J.R. Blackwell is a writer and photographer who lives in Philadelphia. She spent two years performing as a contortionist in a freak show and is now pursuing her Masters degree at the University of Pennsylvania.

J.R. has has stories accepted to several science fiction magazines including Bewildering Stories, Static Movement Magazine and Escape Pod Magazine. She is a co-founder and writer for the science fiction site 365 Tomorrows.

J.R. is best known for her essay “Evidence of a Baker” which was published in The Gospel of the Flying Spaghetti Monster in March 2006.
